After taking the last few months off, Casket Cinema returns this November 3rd, at 8pm with a back to school program of "Waiting for Superman". " Superman made waves with a theatrical run last year and a screening at Sundance. It is the latest film by David Guggenheim (who directed Al Gore in "An Inconvenient Truth") Superman examines the way schools are structured and goes in depth to look at some of the roadblocks that may exist if schools need to be reformed. Its a movie that has stuck in my craw since I saw it. We hope to have a lively audience and some special guests from the educational world to help guide the post film Q&A.
We hope you all can make it.
