The Great Mystery

Thursday, March 1, 2012 - 8:00pm to 10:30pm

Doors at 7:30pm, movie at 8:00pm, discussion follows.  NE Minneapolis' studio-cinema hits March with a universal look at religion with Catherine Corona's "the Great Mystery". Ms. Corona travels the country talking with spiritual leaders about how we can coexist and end the violence between the faiths.  Her conversations are a refreshing take when so much of our media concentrates their coverage on extremists and fundamentalists. Ms. Corona believes there is a "growing culture of spiritual explorations" and questions the media as it "hypes radical religionists making the few seem the majority".

Casket Cinema will follow the film with a Q&A with local spiritual leaders TBD.

BUDDHIST, CHRISTIAN, JEW, HINDU, NATIVE, MUSLIM CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?

Are there real divisions between the religions or is it all media hype? This is the trailer for an entertaining, funny, and insightful feature documentary that uncovers the common essence of the six major religious traditions. Imagine the possibilities if all religions worked together to bring peace to the world.
