Overview
Casket Cinema EXPLODES into its’ 14th season by remembering a fiery crash with the controversial documentary “Wellstone, They Killed Him”! 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the loss of Senator Wellstone. Almost every politically minded Minnesotan remembers the shocking news of his death and where they were when they heard it.
The film, directed by Roy and Karen Harvey of New York, was completed after several fact finding visits to Minnesota, it’s filled with in-depth local & online research and many interviews with Northerners. This blacklisted film has a lot of footage that has never been broadcast on the mass media. The complete film has been banned online. No copies of the film are for sale. Nevertheless, the directors were intrigued to tell this story because for them, many facts about the incident and the official explanation, did not add up. If you also feel this way, are curious, we encourage you to attend, decide for yourself and listen to our panel discussion afterwards.
