Casket Cinema rings in the New Year with a 16mm Trailer Explosion curated by Mark Har.
This will be a special program in a bigger studio, #160, right next door to Casket Cinema in Pagoda Pictures. Attendees should expect 3 freshly curated reels of bizarre and exploitative montage of 70’s Drive-In Movie trailers and commercials. Some of the Mark Har’s new collection bangers like; “Rock N’Roll High School, Velvet Vampire and Caged Heat”. You will groan, be titillated, shocked and squirm as these retro gems cascade across on the Casket walls.
The MN curator and collector, Har, has thousands of these trailers, so each Explosion is unique and hand spliced, by him, for maximum enjoyment. The reels will include all the best exploitation genres from; Horror, Biker, Kung Foo, Crime, Sex and Rock n Roll!
The special guests for this Casket will be Mark Har and David Schnack (of Pagoda Pictures). Har and Schnack will answer your questions post-explosion!
