Casket Cinema is Mark Wojahn's underground micro-cinema co-founded in 2008 with Wilbur Ince. It is dedicated to showing the best in independent documentaries. The intention of the screenings is to use movies to bring people together, and provide an outlet for community building.

Casket Cinema rocks the Mmdterms with a short films showcase on October 22nd. This screening will highlight the films; “American Troubles”, “Bernie v. Claude”, “Sonic Youth Rock the Vote PSA”, “What America Needs: An Interior Expedition” and “Suppressed and Sabotage 2026”. Special guests will be local voting orgs and Leaders TBA.

The Claw!

Casket Cinema pins you to the mat in November with the MN-made documentary “The Claw”. This documentary was one of the “Bests of Fest” selection at the MSPIFF and tells the larger than life tale of James Raschke, an introverted wrestler from the Midwest who transforms into Baron von Raschke, one of the greatest bad guys in the history of pro-wrestling and master of the world-famous Claw hold. Director Philip Harder will be in attendance!
