Casket Cinema dives deep into the “Video archive of Mike Rivard”. Rivard brings jems from his vast library of videos of the Twin Ciites that he has filmed over the last 50 years. Truthseekers, historians and the curious are going to want to be at this event! Rivard has been doing video since the ‘70’s and has received numerous grants, awards and exhibitions. He’s taught legions of filmmakers at the U of MN at University Community Video (UCV) and Intermedia Arts. This show at Casket Arts will also include recent shorts and excerpts from longer pieces for critique and discussion.
